The Executive Committee has decided to continue programs started last season and give grants of up to $100 to offset the cost of traveling to and competing in the 2002 Junior Olympics.

These grants will be given to each 2001-2002 Junior and Cadet Division Champion (the division championship competition will be held November 17-18). Each champion will be eligible for only one grant, even if s/he wins multiple events. To protect NCAA eligibility, the grant will be issued as a reimbursement after receipts are provided to the division treasurer.

Also continuing is a program to provide a $250 travel grant to any Capitol Division member who competes on Team USA at the 2002 Veteran World Championships.
