Take the beltway to the Rockville Pike (Rte 355) towards Bethesda. Go about a mile, and turn right into NIH at the Metro entrance (Medical Center). After leaving the car inspection station (allow 7 minutes) go straight past four stop signs and park in back of Building 10 (ignore parking restriction signs in the lot). Walk into the back lobby and go either right or left until you come to 4 elevators. Take the elevators to 14 (top floor) and go to the gym. If you mistakenly come in the front (new) lobby you need to walk all the way into the old building to get to the gym elevators. If weather is inclement, turn at the third stop sign and go one block and turn left to park under Building 10 and take the elevator to 1. Then walk to the back elevators. If coming by Metro to Medical Center on the red line, show picture ID and walk three short blocks to the back entrance of Building 10 then follow 1) above.
