AGAIN THIS YEAR: MINORS MUST HAVE A SIGNED WAIVER BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN! A University of Maryland policy requires that all minors (under the age of 18) bring a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Minors WILL NOT be permitted to fence in the absence of this waiver. We encourage you to bring this waiver with you to the event to give to the bout committee with your event fee. There will be copies available at the bout committee but we ask you to please have them completed before getting on the registration line to expedite our registration process. There will be an equipment check, and it will be staffed by at least two armorers at all times (plus some volunteers at busy times). For those arriving early (or local) there will be an equipment check Friday night during set up staring around 8:00pm.

Tournament Fees (paid at the door):

First Event Fee: $35.00
Second Event Fee: $25.00
Graduate/Undergraduate College Student with ID: $5.00 off each event fee.

At the door tournament fee without pre-registration $70.00.

If you arrive after the close of registration, you may only fence at the discretion of the Bout Committee and you will be subject to additional fees.

Fencers can only fence one event per day!

Deadline: Pre-registration closes at midnight on 03/29/2012.

Tournament Format: One round of pools with direct elimination and no fence-off for third place. In all events with more then 64 fencers there will be an 80% cut from pools into DEs. Tournament will be run in accordance with all USFA rules.

Directions: Off I-95/495 (Capital Beltway), take Exit 25 (Rt 1 Baltimore Ave, College Park). Follow Rt 1 south 2.5 miles to the University of Maryland campus. The Reckord Armory where the tournament is held is on the right of US 1.
Parking: Any GREEN lot will be free, but we recommend parking in lot C1, C2, or L which are directly adjacent to the Armory.
